To our Musicians Workshop Family,

We highly value the health and safety of our students. It is very important that we are taking every precaution we can to prevent the further spread of the COVID-19 virus.

At this time, we will continue lessons as scheduled. We are doing everything within our abilities to keep the studios disinfected and sanitized and will be keeping a close eye on any updates from the Illinois Department of Health. For those that are concerned about traveling to lessons we are offering online classes. Your teacher will be able to continue your lesson program with very little interruption. If you would like to learn more about how we can set you up with online lessons, please call or email the shop.

Additionally, we have implemented the below precautions:

  • Increased cleaning and sanitizing of all studios in highly trafficked areas including: the lobby, lesson studios, restroom, piano keys, door knobs, switches, entrance door, etc.
  • We have always disinfected the studios daily. We will now include sanitizing after every lesson
  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer is available in every studio room and at the front desk
  • All individuals that enter the shop are asked to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival
  • We will be limiting the number of people in the studio: Please drop off and pick up students rather than sitting in the class or waiting in the lobby for the lessons to finish
  • Students who are showing any sign of illness will need to reschedule their lesson and are encouraged to move to online lessons until they are back to good health

The CDC recommends the following preventative measures:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for a least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
  • Cover your cough or sneeze
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Stay home if you show signs of illness

As long as we are diligent, I believe we will be able to get through this together. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions you may have: 630-964-1400 or email at info@MyMusiciansWorkshop.com.

Again, if you are concerned about traveling at this time, we will help transition your classes to online lessons. Playing music is the perfect pastime while everyone is out of school for the next couple of weeks!

Stay safe!
